Kratom Extract is a refined version of kratom. It is made from the extracts of the alkaloids mitragynine, 7-hydroxy mitragynine, and powder. The process of making kratom extract involves boiling leaves or powder to make a solution. This is then strained to get rid of any solid particles. The remaining solution should be simmered until the water evaporates. After the mixture has become a paste, the liquid is allowed to cool and the powder is made.
Kratom tincture and regular kratom powder are different because kratom extract has a higher concentration of active ingredients and kratom powder is just dried leaves that have been powdered. The liquid kratom extract should not contain any additives and only consist of pure extract mixed with water. Kratom Tincture
A kratom tincture is another option if you are looking for a kratom liquid form. The creation process is what distinguishes a tincture from a liquid extract.
Kratom tincture can be made by soaking the plant with a solvent (typically alcohol) and then removing the solid particles. It is helpful to review the recipes for herbal tinctures. A typical recipe for a herbal tincture is to take the leaves and chop them finely before placing them in an airtight container. They would then pour alcohol into the container. The freshness of the kratom leaves would determine how much alcohol they add to the container. Fresh leaves can be used to make a 1:1 solution. One ounce of kratom per ounce of alcohol. This recipe requires a 1 to 4 solution if the leaves have been dried.
The alcohol is added to the jar. Once sealed, allow the alcohol to sit for at least six weeks. This gives the alcohol time and energy to absorb the active ingredients in the kratom. After enough time, strain the solution and place the liquid in a dropper.
Because of its relative ease of use and effectiveness, a person would make a kratom tincture. A dropper is a faster and more efficient way to measure kratom than having to weigh it and portion it out.
Kratom Shots
